MACNUT FARM TOURS<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
MacNut Farms is an ideal venue for a group excursion with a difference.<\/span>Just a comfortable 50 minutes from downtown Auckland along good sealed roads, with plenty of interesting sights along the way, and there is ample parking and easy bus access and turning.<\/span>A guided tour for a very low $5<\/span> per person (minimum 12 people) includes a railed walk through the orchard to view the producing trees, processing plant and lakes. The tour
\noutlines the history of macadamias, the NZ industry, botanical points of interest, picking and processing<\/a> methods, and finally the macadamia products.<\/span>The highlights of a tour include trees laden with Macadamias. our processing plant, paths paved with Macadamia shell, our cracking equipment and our huge lily pond.<\/span>Tours aren’t the only way to visit the farm of course – wandering around by yourself without a guide can be equally rewarding; the staff are happy to answer your questions about macadamias or the farm. Self-guided tour sheets are available on request.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Macnuts shop has a large selection of Macadamias<\/a>, ideal for gifts (or for personal consumption), such as t<\/span>he all new Wasabi, Smoked Hickory, Roasted and Salted, Natural and Chocolate Coated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Macadamia meal can also be purchased for cooking purposes. Nut crackers<\/a> are available for those who like the challenge of cracking the worlds hardest shell. Gourmet cooking oil and macadamia cosmetics<\/a> are also available.<\/span><\/p>\n
